Everything you need to go from shitty first draft to published and launched, all in one convenient package.
You’ve drafted it. What next? An all-inclusive package for authors looking for a guiding hand through the editing and publishing process.
I’ve gotchu boo. ?
Hi, I’m Yna.
I’m the wingwoman your book has been waiting for.
I know how much work you’ve already put into writing a bomb-ass book that you’re finally ready to share with the world. It’s a little scary. It’s a lot exciting. And it’s WAY FREAKING EASIER with the help of an expert who knows how to do it right. Yep, that’s where I come in.
You could learn every single thing about the editing and publishing world to do it yourself. But let’s be real, you deserve some friendly help.
Yeah, you could totally read every book out there on editing and publishing. You could follow all the blogs and podcasts, stay up-to-date on industry trends, and become an editor-formatter-marketer all in one. You could learn the technical names for each stage of editing, figure out which ones you need, and venture into the depths of Fiverr and Upwork to build a small army of reasonably-but-not-too-reasonably priced freelancers. You could learn the language of the publishing world – CMoS and ePubs and back matter, oh my! – or…
…you could lean on someone who’s already done all those things.
(Spoiler alert: that someone is me.)
Writing the book is the hard part.
Let me make the rest of the process easy.
Here’s how we’ll take you from first draft to Amazon bestseller!
Step 1
The Content Edit
No book is ever perfect on its first draft, and let’s be real, anyone who tries to tell you it is is either (a) a huge meanie-butt or (b) trying to take your money. Let’s make sure your content is on the page, your readers feel seen, and your book is overall as awesome as it can be. It’s time to level up!
Step 2
Guided Revisions
Some editors just draft a quick feedback letter and send you on your merry way, but that ain’t how we work around here. This is the stage where you and I chat, come up with a revision plan, and fully equip you to add, remove, and finesse your manuscript into something you’re proud of.
Step 3
The Line Edit
During first drafts, we sometimes compromise our own personality in favor of getting ideas onto the page. That’s where the line edit comes in! This is the stage where we get serious about your voice, checking for things like repetition, clarity, and, well, whether your manuscript sounds like you. During those last stages, we were checking for content – now, we’re talking about style.
Step 4
The Copyedit
If you’ve never memorized a style guide before, now’s not the time to start! During this stage, I dive deep into the mechanics of your manuscript, correcting for spelling, grammar, mechanics, clarity, the whole shebang. Basically, all that tedious stuff you don’t want to think about. ? Don’t worry, my #1 priority is always preserving your voice!
Step 4
Vellum Formatting
Now it’s time to get your book spiffed up! I’ll gorgeously format your book for ebook and print publication using my absolute fav formatting software. Like grandma always told ya, you never get a second chance to make a first impression!
Step 5
The Proofread
What, more editing? YEP. Before your book goes out into the world, I’ll give it one last lil once-over to check for any rogue typos that snuck through your editing process. I don’t want your baby to head out into the world with her shirt untucked or her mascara smudged—not if I can help it!
Step 6
The Amazon Upload
Here comes that tech stuff you’ve been pushing out of your mind! We’ll hop on a call together and I’ll help you get your manuscript loaded up for publication through Amazon KDP. No mess, no stress—I’ll guide you through exactly what you’re clicking and why.
Step 7
The Bestseller Campaign
Let’s get one thing straight: hitting bestseller on Amazon is pretty darn meaningless. But, well, it’s also pretty darn cool! So let’s get you that banner and those bragging rights. At this final stage, the celebration begins—you’re a published author!!
Okay yeah that sounds friggin' great.
Oh, and did I mention these hella juicy bonuses?
Bonus #1
Mix and Match a Pleasurable Launch training
Nothing is ever REALLY one size fits all, so why do we expect our book launches to be? Plan a baller book launch with this eBook training on marketing options that work for anyone, from the lazy launcher to the full-on author advertiser.
Bonus #2:
Guide to gorgeous cover design
You know how you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover? Yeah, well, hate to break it to ya but your readers do anyway. Knock their socks off with an insta-buy-worthy cover, with options for any skill level and budget!
(COMING SOON: Want a really all-inclusive option?)
If “done for you” is your jam (because you deserve it, my friend), tack on this add-on to get it alllll taken care of for ya.
A beautifully designed cover that you don’t have to go commission yourself. All you have to do is tell me your opinions—I’ll take care of the rest!
A planned-for-you launch including custom social media graphics, a personalized launch plan, and inclusion in 2–3 book promotion campaigns.
A totally gorg landing page for your new book (either done for you if you don’t have a website or mailing list yet, or drafted for you/your web peeps to create in your existing space)
Why is this an add-on? Because these are all things you can do yourself for basically the same price (the bonus trainings will tell you how!). But ‘cos I like to treat my authors right, I’ve added this option for authors who want truly “done for you” service.
Add this bonus for: $1000
Don’t take my word for it…
“Working with Yna was beyond what I could have hoped for. She was everything I needed and everything I didn’t know I needed. Not only was she my editor but also my guide and biggest cheerleader (okay, besides my mom, of course!). I chose to work with her because I felt like she got me from the moment I landed on her website. My favourite part of working with Yna was that she never tried to change my book into something that wasn’t 100% authentically me.”

You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers!
Am I at the right stage of my publishing process for this package?
This package is for authors who are totally finished their first draft manuscript. Maybe you’ve self-edited, maybe a friend has read through your book-to-be, but now you’re ready to really dive in and rock the editing and publishing process!
Not quite done with your book? Finish it and get back to me. I’m sure you’re worth the wait!
Already edited and just looking for formatting and launching help? Go you!! You’re looking for my publishing packages! I like to make it easy for ya. ?
How long 'til I can get my amazing book out into the world?
Most authors publish their books within 3–4 months from the time their manuscript lands in my inbox, but these services can be used for up to one year after purchase. It all depends on you!
If you’re a compulsive planner pro-schedule like me, check out this sample schedule for an idea of what our time together will look like:
- DAY 1: Send me your draft manuscript for review! I complete my content edit (an editorial feedback letter and in-text comments on your draft itself) within 10 days and send it back to you to start the editing magic.
- DAY 11: You and I chat revisions and make your revision plan. This is where we sketch out your desired timeline and goals for our time together, so I know that you can get the most out of this program!
- WEEKS 2–4: It’s EDITING time! This is your chance to apply my content feedback and uplevel the manuscript on the page. I recommend that my authors complete this process in 2–3 weeks, but you’re welcome to take your time here if you need to!
- WEEK 5: My turn! It’s line edit time, so this is my chance to dive in for your style review. As with any stages in which I’m doing the bulk of the work, this is your week to sit back and veg out—you’ve earned it.
- WEEKS 6–7: This is your opportunity to play with and admire your own words as you review my line edit and apply any suggestions. Feeling trusting? Some authors finish this step in as few as 24 hours by just accepting all of my changes. Feeling fancy? Others take a full two weeks to really reread, tweak, and savor their content.
- WEEK 8: COPYEDIT WEEK! When you hear “editing,” this is probably what comes to mind. Typos begone!
- WEEK 9: You know the drill by this point. I always want to give you a chance to make sure you love my changes!
- WEEK 10: This is the week where your book really starts to look like a book! That’s right, this is your time to sit back and relax while I do the hard work of formatting and proofreading your book for ya. Not great at killing time? This is a great time to start planning your launch!
- WEEK 11: Review and approve your formatted, proofread manuscript! This should be a SUPER easy process, but I like to give you a few days to do this because, well, life happens, eh? Once your manuscript is approved, it’s time to pick out your launch date and set up your KDP upload call!
- THREE…DAYS…LATER…: (Or more, if you’re running a preorder campaign. Don’t worry, we’ll chat about this.) Your book is published! CONGRATULATIONS! CELEBRATE!
- LAUNCH DAY: Your bestseller campaign! Woot woot!
- THE ENTIRE REST OF TIME: You’re an author! Brag!!!
Wait, did you just write out this program's whole schedule in a mostly-unrelated FAQ item?
…yes, yes I did. See the question right above this one.
What happens if I want to repeat a step in this process?
I complete each step in this process once as part of this package, and no steps should need to be repeated if you’re really focused on prioritizing your book and getting the most out of every step. If you do want any step repeated though, I’m glad to oblige. Steps beyond the scope of this package are billed at my standard à la carte rates.
I always recommend that my authors take whatever time they need for each step in this process so that additional/repeated steps won’t be necessary. I promise, I’m patient! ?
What if I want to skip a step in this process?
Totally fine, just let me know! Note, though, that I strongly recommend going through each step, and that, because this package price is a significant discount from à la carte services, the package price will not change if services are skipped or not used within the one-year program timeline.
How long do I have to work with you?
All services included in this package are good for one year from the purchase date. This is about 6–9 months more than most authors need! If services are not used by the one-year-from-purchase mark, they will be considered forfeit.
Can I follow the steps of the program out of order?
Nope! I intentionally crafted this offer according to the timeline and timing that I know works and serves my authors best. I know that this is the order and set of services that will get you the best results!
While I’m glad to skip a service on request, because services must be provided in order, if a service is skipped we cannot return to. it later. Along those same lines, all services must be performed on one single book – if you’re super prolific, awesome, but I can’t line edit one book and then copyedit a different one.
I've written a fiction book / memoir / nonfiction book / dramatic poem. Will this package work for me?
This package is ideal for authors who have written transformational nonfiction, fiction, or memoir projects. Basically, anything text-heavy with simple formatting!
It is NOT for authors of children’s picture books, art books, low-content books, or projects that are generally low on words and high in fancy formatting needs. Love you guys, but you’re not going to get a ton of value out of this package! You’ll want to look for someone who specializes in those niches.
Are there limits to how long/short my book can be?
I work with books between 10,000 and 110,000 words. Shorter or longer projects just have different needs!
Have a project outside of this length range? Hop on a call with me and we’ll chat about the perfect plan for you!
I like chatting face-to-face! How many calls are included in this process?
This package includes 8 one-on-one 45-minute Zoom calls:
- The content feedback/planning call
- The revisions check-in call
- The line edit next steps call
- The copyedit next steps call
- The proofreading next steps call
- 1 schedule-as-needed call to check-in (or just chat!)
- The KDP and print book upload calls!
All of my clients also receive lifetime access to my private author Facebook group, where I host Q&A calls, live trainings, and provide support as needed.
Want additional one-on-one support? Extra calls can be added individually. Let’s chat about curating a custom VIP editing package!
I already know what day I want to launch my book. Can you work with that date?
Glad to chat about this. If the date is at least 3 months in the future, it shouldn’t be a problem! Please just inform me of your desired publication date when making your purchase so we can plan ahead. ?
Do you have a refund policy?
Nope! I work with authors who are 100% committed to editing and launching their books, and to make that happen you need skin in the game. Once a manuscript has been submitted, I do not offer refunds – but don’t worry, you have twelve months from your date of purchase to make use of your services.
What if I XXX? Will it still work?
Just ask! My free discovery calls are a great time to figure out which of my programs or packages is right for you. I’d always love to chat! ?
Do you offer sample edits?
Yessiree! I provide sample edits upon request. For editing packages, that would specifically be a sample of my copyediting style—while of course this package includes a whole lot more than just copyediting, that’s the easiest service to sample here!
I have two sample edit options:
1. FREE sample edit: send me your whole manuscript and I’ll randomly choose 1,000 words to edit and send back to you. This gives me the best sense of your manuscript, so it’s always what I recommend!
2. PAID sample edit: looking for an edit of a specific section? I’ll edit up to 3,000 words at $.04/word. If you decide to work with me further, that fee will be subtracted from your total owed!
I always recommend the first option, since it tends to be more representative of how we’ll work together and, well, it’s free!
I plan on a seven-day turnaround time for sample edits, but if you’re working on a crunch and are looking for something more quickly, just let me know! ?
Four months from now (or, ya know, longer if ya want), you could be a bestselling author.
Are you ready?
Ready to hold your book in your hands?
Let’s chat about working together!
